Welcome to Nora's website!
Life is full of rewards and challenges. Therapy is essential for us to have a better relationship with our loved
ones by recognizing and accepting ourselves. In a safe and welcoming environment, my role is to find the best in yourself.
I specialize in working with teenagers, couples, children, individuals and adults. I provide "Caring Moms" and "Caring
Teens" workshops in an intimate and small group setting in my office. I look forward to guide you with your challenges.I
will help you explore your strengths and weaknesses in a non-judgmental approach. Stay in

About Nora: Nora
has a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master's of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and
Counseling, from California State University Northridge. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has been working
in the mental health field and counseling since 1996. During her undergraduate and graduate studies she worked as a teacher
both in regular and special education schools. She has facilitated court ordered domestic violence classes with male perpetrators.
She’s been a social worker working with developmentally disabled children and facilitated parent-support groups for
their parents. She has also worked at the Armenian Relief Society’s Child, Youth and Family Guidance center as a therapist
from 2001 until 2004 and facilitated parenting groups. She has worked as a school based therapist at The Help Group, a Non-Public
school with children who have Autism, Asperger's and emotional challenges.
Nora is active in the community
and conducts workshops on parenting skills, anxiety, stress management, relationships and social skills for various organizations
and educational institutions, including at Armenian Private schools. She’s had numerous public appearances both on TV
and as an invited guest speaker at seminars.
Aside from Nora's professional experiences, she is a mother of
3 young children and she experiences the challenges and rewards of parenting on a daily basis. Nora is very passionate
at what she does and motivates parents by empowering them to become stress free and fun loving by meeting
the child's needs along with their own needs at the same time.
